If lost or damaged, it can be replaced at the ticket window for $5.

How do the RFID tickets and passes work?
Ski Big Bear introduced an access card containing an RFID chip during the 2020/21 winter season to replace paper tickets. Lift tickets are loaded electronically onto this RFID access card. Any person skiing, snowboarding or tubing must have an RFID card with their own name on it. They may not use another person's RFID card. The card is scanned by either a scanner or a gate at the lifts. The card can be reloaded online with future tickets, which allows for direct to lift access. Lost or damaged RFID cards can be replaced at the ticket window for $5. For more information on RFID tickets, click here.

If customers have their own boots, we can set our rental skis as a "Ski Only rental." If customers have their own skis, we will try to set them up as a "Boot Only rental"; however, ski binding age, condition and sizing may limit our ability to do so. *Setting personal equipment will be at the discretion of the Rental Shop Technician and/or the Rental Shop Manager.
