What is an Indy Pass?
The Indy Pass is both a physical and cloud based pass that gives you two free lift tickets and a third discounted day at each one of our Partner Resorts.
How does an Indy Pass work?
Go to any Partner Resort’s ticket window to redeem your free lift ticket by presenting your Indy RFID Card! Resorts will scan or look you up to redeem your pass and issue a day ticket. A limited number of Partner Resorts have blackout dates or require reservations so be sure to visit the resort page to learn about any restrictions prior to visiting the resort. Only one pass can be redeemed per day per person. Passes do not need to be used sequentially.
Blackout Dates at Ski Big Bear
If you have an Indy Base Pass or Indy Add On Pass, blackout days apply for the December (Christmas) holiday period, the MLK Weekend holiday period, and the first weekend of the Presidents' Week holiday period. There are no blackout dates for Indy+ Pass or Indy+ Add On Pass customers.
How to buy a 25/26 Indy Pass
In order to preserve the independent resort skiing and riding experience, we cap sales of all Indy Pass products, and offer passes in a three-phase sequence.
February 24 - 28, 2025: Easy Renew! - Returning and lapsed passholders are the first to be offered passes. They can enroll in “easy renew” starting Feb 24 for first dibs.
February 24 - 28, 2025: Waitlist - Those signed up to the waitlist before Feb 24 are the second group offered passes. Waitlisters will receive access to purchase via email.
March 2, 2025 until Sold Out - Public Sale - If there is remaining capacity after the waitlist, sales will open up to the public while supplies last.
Are there Blackout Dates/Restrictions?
Blackout dates apply specifically to the Indy Base Pass and Indy AddOn Base Pass. Indy+ Passes are not subject to blackout dates. Blackout dates for the 25/26 season will be announced in the fall of 2025.
What if I have an existing Ski Big Bear Season Pass / Masthope Membership Pass and I want to add Indy Pass?
As a Ski Big Bear Unlimited Season Passholder or Masthope Member, you have the option to supercharge your pass with the “Indy Add-On Pass” to access 2 days each at every partner resort for a fraction of the price. (Promotion does not apply to Off Peak Season Pass customers)
This promotion is only available for a limited time! Purchase your Indy AddOn Pass now and submit your season pass/membership proof when you receive it to activate your Indy Pass. Your pass must be verified before it can be redeemed, but proof is not required in the checkout process.
