Ski Big Bear is owned by the property owners of Masthope Mountain Community and operated by Recreation Management Corporation. Members of Masthope Mountain Community in good standing receive complimentary skiing for themselves by signing a waiver of liability at the start of each season. Members of at least 18 years of age must sign for themselves and children under 18 must have the waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. (Grandparents are not considered legal guardians unless they are court-appointed guardians.) You can sign the waiver anytime the ski office is open. Or, you can download the waiver , get the signatures and bring the form with the passes to the ski office to obtain the stickers.
Consisting of member ski areas statewide, the Pennsylvania Ski Areas Association is a non-profit association that was developed to promote and serve the Pennsylvania Ski Industry. PSAA works to encourage participation and enjoyment of skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and cross country skiing in Pennsylvania.
