Thinking Snow?    It will be here before you know it!  Time to check out your ski equipment.   If your old skis, boots, etc. need to be replaced plan on attending the annual Ski Swap meet.    Take advantage of this opportunity to sell your old equipment and replace it with some new or almost new “ski stuff.”   

The Ski Swap is held by the Ski Big Bear Ski Committee in conjunction with Guenther’s Ski Haus.  There will be good buys on new and almost new skis, boards, bindings, boots and clothing.

Bring in your old ski equipment for sale starting at 9:00 AM on November 20th, 2010. Items will be accepted for sale until 11:00 AM on November 21st, 2010.

All unsold items must be picked up by 5:00 PM on November 21st, 2010.   Any unsold items not picked up by 5:00 PM on November 21st, 2010 will be disposed of at the discretion of our volunteers.

Place:        Lower Commons, Masthope Lodge
Date:        November 20th and 21st, 2010
Time:        9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Ten (10%) percent of the proceeds of all sales will be deducted and donated to the Lackawaxen Township Volunteer Ambulance.

Its hard to think snow in the summer but we are!  Have you started to plan your ski trip for this winter?  Ski Big Bear is working to continue making improvements to our snowmaking system.  We also are planning to expand the rental shop.  Look for new and improved signage on the mountain as well as a new fleet of rental helmets.  Be sure to purchase your unlimited season pass soon.  The earlier it is purchased the bigger the discount.  Ski Big Bear is a great place to work and we have begun to take applications for lift attendants, ski instructors and lodge attendants.  Click on the employment tab at the top to appy for any of these positions.  Ski ya later;)
